Now that you have decided to lose weight, there are certain things that you must keep in mind and most importantly stop doing certain things which can work like an obstacle in your weight loss session. Here are a few things you must stop doing before you dive in to weight loss.
1. No unrealistic goals please – Goals can be good to motivate yourself but most of the time people over do this and this takes a toll on the body. Moreover, people also tend to make unrealistic goals for weight loss after which lack of progress can lead to lack of motivation.
2. Do not chose fad diets – A fad diet can make your body starve for energy and can lead to lack of metabolism. When you are trying to lose weight you must make sure that you also maintain the energy levels.
3. No excuses for exercise – When you have decided to do something, follow it like religion and make sure that you fish out time everyday for exercise. Do not allow to make lack of time as an excuse not to exercise.
4. Do not keep the encouragement to yourself – Get out and encourage people around to to lose weight. This will also make you feel even more determined and energetic as an involvement of a friend or a family member makes the task even more easy.
