5 Ways to include more fiber in everyday diet
Your body needs to have a balanced diet. A balanced diet means you need to have proteins, vitamins and fiber all at equal proportions. On a daily basis we do not tend to include more fiber in our diet. Here are a few simple ways you can add more fiber to your diet.
1. Have whole orange – Instead of just the juice, have a whole orange. Juice emits all the fiber which is healthy for the body. It has got plenty of minerals and vitamins that are beneficial for the body.
2. Fruit salad – Instead of having a boring fruit, make it more interesting with a fruit salad that looks more colorful and yummy. Combine berries, nuts, bananas, strawberries, kiwis, grapes and apples to make a yummy fruit salad.
3. Eat apples with skin – Do not emit the skin while having apples, as it has more fiber than in the actual fruit. The real nutritive value lies in the skin of the apple skin than the tender flesh inside.
4. Have whole wheat grain bread – Whole wheat grain bread is heavier in taste as well as texture. The bran in the bread has more nutritive value and has plenty of fiber.
5. Have brown rice – Instead of regular white rice, brown rice is more nutritious and has plenty of fiber.
