After having achieved that much desired weight loss goal, it is crucial to maintain the ideal weight. And that very often here is where the glitch lies, after excruciating diet plans and strenuous workout regimes, you need to make sure not to dive back into those over sized jeans!
Here are a few simple tricks that can help you to maintain your weight.
1. Do not take your earlier schedule for granted – Do not immediately abandon earlier weight loss schedule. You need not follow the old strict diet, but since your body has become accustomed to a certain diet schedule, make sure that you gradually come out of it. This will help to maintain your weight.
2. Have regular meals – Make sure that you take your meals on time and not skip them. Skipping meals can reduce the metabolism of the body. This can also lead to overeating later in the day.
3. Do not let down your guard – Try to be active at least during the day time. If you are at home, make use of the stairs instead of the lift, help yourself or someone else for a glass of water or something else. If you have a sitting job in an office, get up at regular intervals for a glass of water or for a short strol.
4. Keep weighing yourself – Just to keep a watch, weigh yourself on a daily basis so that you are aware of any changes and restrict yourself accordingly.
5. Continue to keep healthy goals – Even if you have achieved a goal of losing weight, continue with other healthy goals like building up your stamina by running or swimming.
